Eng. Khalifa Abdulla Darweesh Alsiry Alqmezi

He works as head of the Project Implementation Section that requires special administrative, engineering, and technical skills and expertise to raise the efficiency and quality of life of citizens and residents in the United Arab Emirates through the application of the best sustainable systems in the design and implementation of roads and infrastructure. His job duties are summarized in supervising the management of the implementation of road projects and infrastructure in the Abu Dhabi City Municipality. The number of projects he supervised during the last eight years reached 36 projects with a budget of three billion dirhams, and this is done in collaboration with a specialized engineering team and in coordination with other agencies inside and outside the municipality and with strategic partners.
He works very carefully to ensure that the actual spending on projects is not less than 95% of the approved cash flows, and to respond to correspondence without delay, in addition to contributing to reducing project costs during the design and implementation period while ensuring the implementation of value engineering procedures and updated technical requirements for the various relevant authorities.
He has a lot of participation and initiatives that had a significant impact on improving and quality of performance, raising performance indicators, and achieving the municipality’s mission, including applying best practices in effective communication with the work team and the rest of the authorities, presenting working papers and training workshops in forums and conferences to disseminate knowledge, adopting best applications and practices Global design and implementation of projects. He also participates in the preparation of the operational manual for the department, in the automation of supervising project management and linking internally and externally with stakeholders, and in the automation of project management using modern computer programs. He supports and encourages employees to participate in awards and achieve excellence. He works on activating the second row among the department's employees, including the development of a training plan for the employees of the department and follows up by measuring the impact of the trainings on the performance of employees. He holds training workshops and emphasizes the importance of excellence by sharing creative and innovative ideas.
